Equitable Teaching and Learning

Equitable teaching and learning focuses on the relationship between instructional choices and meaningful learning. Exploring needs & values, emotional agility, curiosity, and space deepens the lens in which to consider how to facilitate learning from a place of equanimity that affirms and challenges all students.

Values are deeply held desires that act as a guide for life. Values are long-term and bring immense joy.

Curiosity

Space

Space is physically, mentally, and emotionally slowing down and pausing to notice, align, and adjust with kindness, care, compassion, and love.
